Instructor Profile: Alex Beaumont

I help run the Cambridge Kung Fu kids class's on a Saturday morning because I enjoy working with children.  As I grew up I was a cub, scout, crusader, and then joined the air training corps.  I became a scout leader and crusader leader at 18, only giving up because the troop finally closed in the mid nineties.

I tried Karate as a child, and more recently Judo, but found a Wing Chun club about five years ago and have concentrated on this martial art ever since.

I am married with three young children, run my own distribution company, and help out on a Saturday morning, which my two younger children attend.

I find the Children fun and enthusiastic, and am constantly amazed by how fast they pick up new concepts and ideas, challenging me to come up with new ways of teaching them.
