Junior Warriors
Programme Outline:The Cambridge Kung Fu Junior Warriors programme builds on the Little Dragons programme, where the children continue to learn more about martial arts and all the social, emotional, mental, and physical benefits that come from martial arts training. As the children are more mature, the emphasis from martial arts games to martial arts training continues to shift, this allows the children to engage in learning the stances and techniques, whilst still having fun and playing our unique games that continue to build confidence, balance, evasive maneuvering and awareness of their surroundings!
The children learn martial arts forms from a series of different martial arts. They will learn stances and attacking/defensive techniques specific to that martial art, as well as learn where the martial art comes from and a little bit about the culture of that country that produced the martial art in question. We teach the martial arts in a rotating syllabus, spending three months on each martial art and learning a form, which the children are graded on. If they pass the grading they receive a badge to sew on their Kung Fu suit, and a certificate. Classes:
