From Emma Parkes, mother of Frankie Ashworth

I would like to say that Frankie is really enjoying the classes and is improving from week to week.  We thought Kung Fu would be good for him as he has struggled in the past with concentration and whilst the daydreaming is firmly part of his character it would be best for him if he could learn how not to do this on occasion.  We have seen real improvements to this side of his character and his school work is also improving, which may or may not be connected to the classes but we welcome nonethless.  He is also gaining in confidence.  Most of all, however, he really enjoys the classes and is starting to make some friends in the group.

From Sarah Wormald, mother of Ben Wormald

Ben (6) loves Kung Fu.  He is gaining in confidence and it is helping him see that it can be fun trying new challenges.   He really likes the people who run the session and comes away very upbeat each week.

From Alison Searle, mother of Zac Searle

Zac is really enjoying his lessons (he wants to do Kung Fu "forever"!).  Personally I am very impressed with the classes, as is my husband.  The instructors are excellent and manage to hold the attention of the group for the whole hour (quite an achievement in this age group).  I also like the philosophy behind the lessons and I think Zac will definitely benefit from it.  I have already recommended Cambridge Kung Fu to other parents.

From James Marks, father of Freddy Marks

Freddy started when he was in Year 1 and it's been brilliant for him, particularly for his confidence and coordination, neither of which were in huge supply when he started with you. He still really enjoys the Kung Fu classes, both learning the Form and playing cooperative games, not to mention the pearls of wisdom he picks up on the way! Signing him up for CKF classes was one of the best things we ever did.

From Darren Stewart, father of James and Emily

I would like to pass on my compliments and praise for your staff and club,my two children have been coming for about a month now and they are absolutley loving it.  Si-hing Craig and Si-je Emily are very good with the children and teach very well, i have spoken to both James and Emily and they say that the would like to stay and learn forever.  I have noticed that their confidence has improved a little (I am hoping it will improve a lot more), with the help of your staff i can see this happening, so all i can say is many thanks and keep up the good work.

From Mandy Cox, mother of Charlie Cox

I just wanted to take this opportunity to let you know how much Charlie enjoys coming to Kung Fu and for my part It's really great to see not only the kids really enjoying doing something different, (even being Quiet) but also I am really impressed with the way all staff deal with the Kids, so thank you.

From Kirsty Smith, mother of Caleb Plant

Cambridge Kung Fu offers not just an outlet for our dynamic and energetic 7 year old to expound energy, learn new skills, and have fun, but also encourages self-discipline and focus which is often absent from the noise and stressful pace of other aspects of his life.  The staff gently but firmly guide the students, continuously reinforcing an ethos of respect for self and others which we are trying to promote at home.

From Mark Smith

As a thirty-something father of three, with a busy job and home life, the thought of returning to the world of martial arts after an eight year break was far from my mind. After seeing my daughter enjoy the Cambridge Kung Fu Tiny Tigers class so much, I was spurred into action, and came along to the Wednesday beginners class which I loved. Six months on and I still enjoy the classes a huge amount. In many years of martial arts training, I have never been to a friendlier class, and one with less collective and individual ego. This attitude starts at the top and percolates down. The teaching is excellent, the style really is suitable for all, and the atmosphere is great. I recommend it to all.

From Chloe, aged 10.

I have been attending classes since I was eight. I like Kung Fu because it has really boosted my confidence. Also it gives me a chance to relax if i have had a bad day at school. Another reason is because every lesson you learn something new. Plus it always puts a smile on my face and makes me feel good!

From Nicki - Movement & Pilates Teacher - Cambridge

My children have been learning Kung Fu with Ross and his team for over two years. On one hand I am amazed that they are so keen to go to their lessons twice a week, every week no matter what - they absolutely love it. On the other hand when I witness the standard of teaching, the level of engagement and the vitality with which these teachers interact with the children its obvious why my children love it.

If you want to find people who transfer passion and intellect through the teaching of martial arts - you'll find it with Cambridge Kung Fu.

From Anonymous.

I have been doing classes with Cambridge Kung Fu for two years.  I started as a junior warrior, aged 10 and now I am 12 and have progressed to Youth Kung Fu.  I love Kung Fu because you get to learn cool martial arts and have fun at the same time.  I have grown in confidence and enjoy learning new moves and skills.
